The countdown to Alpha just got even more exciting.
Yash Raj Films has dropped a thrilling behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of Alpha, offering fans an exclusive look at the blood, sweat, and grit that powers the first female-led chapter of the YRF Spy Universe. And if the newly released footage is anything to go by, audiences are in for an action spectacle unlike anything they've seen before.
The electrifying making video captures leading ladies Alia Bhatt and Sharvari pushing their physical limits as they tackle some of the film’s most demanding action sequences themselves. From high-impact combat scenes to breathtaking stunt work, the duo embraced the challenge head-on, showcasing remarkable dedication to their roles.
Director Shiv Rawail shed light on the rigorous preparation that went into crafting these larger-than-life moments. Speaking about Alia’s transformation for the film, he revealed, “Alia has put in much of training into just this sequence. Hopefully the audience are going to get to see a very new Alia Bhatt. When you see the film and you see the action sequences, one thing is that they've done all of this themselves. They are performing those guns at that break-neck rocket speed.”
The behind-the-scenes footage highlights the scale and ambition of Alpha’s action design, with every frame promising edge-of-the-seat excitement. Action Director Craig Macrae summed it up perfectly, saying, “Rotations on wires, explosions, gunfights, knife fights. It's going to be a great ride.”
And a ride it certainly looks like. Whether it’s navigating intense fight choreography, executing high-risk stunts, or powering through explosive set pieces, Alia and Sharvari appear fully immersed in the world of espionage and action, bringing authenticity and intensity to every moment.
Backed by producer Aditya Chopra and directed by Shiv Rawail, best known for The Railway Men, Alpha is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious entries in the YRF Spy Universe. With its blend of scale, spectacle, and two formidable female leads at the forefront, the film is already generating massive anticipation.
Alpha arrives in cinemas worldwide on July 3, promising audiences an action-packed mission led by two women ready to redefine the spy genre.
